The Star Casino

18+ only and ID on entry.
Whether you are here to test your luck, or tempted by the idea of gambling, The Star offers a whole new scene for entertainment. You will find many high end retail shops and also fine dinning venues at The Star.
Tip: The casino is quite easy to get to via tram from central station.
Like most casinos the entry is quite grand and sets the tone for luxury and the high life to be experienced. As you approach via the elevators the golden setting can be quite dazzling.
Inside the casino you will be lost in the labyrinth of poker machines, tables upon tables of black jack, poker, Texas Holdem and Roulette (I'm sure there is more but we only went for a short walk around the place ;D)
We do not support gambling but definitely an experience you have to check out once your are over 18.

FBI Internet Cafe

Like many guys who like gaming we like to keep our entertainment cheap and be competitive, for many males and some females an internet cafe would be a suitable place to kill time, de-stress and go all out playing some online games.
FBI is relatively new but it is an amazing internet cafe, from technology point of view the Monitor is Wide and spacious, keyboard lights up, and the mouse is Razor branded and the internet is fast which makes the quality of the experience so much better and lag-free. The price is only $2 per hour.
The isys group had a great time hitting up League or Legends and Counter Strike (CS).
Don’t think this place is just for Guys as Shirley had a lot of fun shooting up the other boys in the ISYS group. If your around the area and a big fan of online gaming definitely grab a bunch of friends and check this place out.

The Rocks

Another hotspot to visit in Sydney would be The Rocks. Anybody who visits Sydney would be certain to visit this place because it is one of the most iconic places within the city. It is the foundation place of Sydney, where it has enormous amount of historical value. It is located at the foot of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and on the western shores of Sydney cove.
It is one of the oldest places and it has since been transformed to an iconic place with a whole lot of unique cafes and entertainment places and tourist attractions, but the old historic buildings are well maintained even to this day. There is a lot of cafes and local pubs that offers everything from a relaxed drink with friends to a night out to remember.  The rocks is often called the "Sydney's outdoor museum".
So this is the place within Sydney and everyone around should definitely come visit!!

Gelato Messina!

Another gelato place that everyone should visit! Gelato Messina is voted #1 best gelato & ice-cream in the Australian Food guide 2011 so desert lovers out there should come and check it out! It is located at The Star, which is a 5 minute from Darling Harbour.
The ice-creams that's created by Messina are completely made from raw and natural ingredients. There are around 40 flavours of gelatos and sorbets to choose from. The majority of the flavours that are available are signature flavours that are available daily. However, there are half a dozen of new flavours that vary each week so desert lovers would not get bored! Also, the flavours are low fat, dairy free and packed with fresh ingredients!
All the flavours are to die for, but to choose a personal favourite, mine would be coconut pandan sorbet. It is a must try for all food lovers out there.

N2 - EXTREME GELATO!

On the outside you see a Lab, Conical Flasks, Nitrogen Tanks, Metal Bench, Colourful stools, people dressed up in lab coats and safety glasses.
Everything you would normally see in a science lab, the only difference is, this place sells Gelatos.
Not just any normal Gelatos, N2 makes its ice-cream fresh in front of you with LIQUID NITROGEN. If that wasn’t wow in enough, all the ingredients are natural and no colouring. The novelty of N2 all focuses on using the nitrogen and the evaporation of the gas. This makes it the coolest ice cream shop in Sydney. Definitely check it out if you’re walking around Chinatown they have sick flavours like Peanut Butter Jelly, Earl Grey Caramel and Buttered Popcorn.

Bondi Beach

Of course you must hit the beaches in Sydney!! One of many popular beaches to go to include Bondi Beach.  The beach is a relaxing and peaceful place to go and hang out with friends and family. Whether you want to catch some waves, jump those waves, have a little swim or just sit there to sun bake and chat with your mates, it's the place to be. And an extra plus is it's cutting the expenses from your budget!
The beach is also a safe place if you'd want to bring along younger children. Safe areas for swimming are marked out with flags and there are lifeguards there to always be on the watch.
Not only is there the beach; there are many great restaurants around and you can do a little shopping for new swimwear or a little souvenir.
If it's great weather, then Bondi Beach is the place to be!

Chefs Gallery

Nope, it's not an art gallery with photos or painting, but it's a Chinese restaurant that serves lunch and dinner.
Their food are freshly handmade and incredibly delicious! The signature dish is the handmade noodles which are made from scratch using only the best dough. You can observe them kneading and stretching the dough behind a huge glass panel; definitely no lies about it being freshly handmade there!
There are many more dishes to try out such as their gourmet dim sims, dumplings, the different variety of soups, spring rolls, wontons and many more.
Although it's a bit on the pricier side, the taste and quality of the food are worth the value; like they all say - you get what you pay for!
The cutest dish there would have to be this dumpling!

Would definitely recommend this restaurant for all of you to try it out! I'd love to go back there right now; there's just too many dishes that still have to be tried! Head out to 501 George Street, Sydney, and you surely won't regret it!
